Korea Kamada Corp. was established in 1983 for
the purpose of sourcing automotive parts from Korea
to the U.S. automotive industry. Korea Kamada¡¯s liaison
office is located in Rochester, MI. USA, with corporate
office in Seoul, Korea that are staffed with experts
in the fields of Sales & Marketing, Program Management,
Technical Engineering and Quality Control, relating
to the U.S. automotive industry.
Kamada Korea was established at the Pyeng-Taek industrial
complex in 1999, received QS9000 certification in
2000 and has been rapidly growing ever since with
success in the areas of interior lamps (Dome/Reading
& Personal) & switch (Push, Slide, Rocker)
manufacturing for the U.S. automotive marketplace.
Although Kamada Korea¡¯s manufacturing facility has
been in operation for a relatively short period of
time, Kamada Corp. has built a strong reputation in
terms of competitive prices, quality, delivery and
technology over the past 20+ years in the U.S. automotive
market, both at the OEM and Tier 1 & 2 supplier
levels. Currently, Kamada Korea manufactures approx.
3 million interior lamps per year for various models
of General Motors, Daimler Chrysler, Toyota USA and
Nissan USA,
supplied through well known U.S. Tier 1 and Tier 2
suppliers.
Currently, Kamada Korea produces 3 millions
of interior lamps per year on production lines with
conveyors.
